Big name architects rarely go down to the details of designing kitchens. We found some rare exemptions.
Peter (not Hans, sorry) Zumthor recently designed two holiday appartments in Leis. Here are images of the two stainless steel kitchens.
This is a still image of Wim Wenders’ film “Notes from a day in a life of an architect” showing Peter Zumthor’s way of working. Peter Zumthor is even seen making coffee.

Leonardstreet is a project by Herzog De Meuron on NYC with two renderings of a vast room with a shiny black kitchen that resembles a large piano.
Dutch bureau MVRDV designed the spectacular “Balancing Barn”. The entrance leads directly into the kitchen.
